Loudoun Soccer Holds Food Drive for Loudoun Interfaith Relief

Our KICK HUNGER food drive for Loudoun Interfaith Relief (LIR) is taking place until November 18. Each program will participate by conducting a collection during their last events of the season. The goal is for each program to collect at least one pound of non-perishable food for each player registered in that program.

The collection boxes for non-perishable food will be at various locations so please help us reach our goal to collect 6,697 pounds of food - but anything is appreciated. The donated items will be taken to Interfaith Relief on Monday and weighed. Checks made out to Loudoun Interfaith Relief may be donated in lieu of items - $1.00 = 1 pound.

The Mini Soccer Program got us off to a great start!!

October 27th - The Mini Soccer Program and TOPSoccer. * 633 Pounds collected *

Nov 3 - The U7 teams will have their collection at their fields during the Jamboree.

Nov 5 thru 16 - The Adult league collection will be at Loudoun Soccer Park.

Nov 10 & 11 - Travel teams will have their collections at their fields during their last games.

Nov 17 & 18 - TTA teams will have their collections at their fields.

VCCL - collections will be during their last games.

A donation of fresh applies will be made to LIR that equals twice the age of Coach Grandma if each program reaches their goal or an equivalent total of 6,697 pounds is collected in food and checks. And boy is she old . . . so let's fill the boxes!
